TExAS Transfer Student Scholarship

    The TExAS FAST Transfer Student Scholarship is a $4,000 scholarship for students transferring to OLLU from a different school. This is designed to support those who plan to study Environmental Science and Sustainability (ESS) and who demonstrate academic excellence, leadership, and a commitment to sustainability.

    Qualifications: To be considered for the scholarship, applicants must meet the following qualifications:

    • Planning to transfer as a full-time student in the undergraduate ESS program at Our Lady of the Lake University San Antonio campus for the upcoming academic year.
    • Have a minimum cumulative college GPA of 2.5 (on a 4.0 scale).
    • Demonstrate a strong commitment to environmental sustainability and leadership through their academic work, community involvement, or extracurricular activities.
    • Declare a major OR minor in environmental science and sustainability.
    • Be a citizen of the United States, national of the United States, alien admitted as refugees under section 207 of the Immigration and Nationality Act, or alien lawfully admitted to the United States for permanent residence.

    Priority deadline to submit application is March 1, 2025. Applications received after March 1st will be reviewed on a rolling basis if scholarships remain.

Include how your experiences thus far demonstrate your commitment to sustainability, evidence of leadership potential, and how pursuing a degree in Environmental Science and Sustainability aligns with your larger career and life plans.
