TExAS FAST Academic Scholarship Application

    The TExAS FAST Academic Scholarship is a $5000 scholarship for incoming freshmen and rising sophomores that is designed to support those who plan to major in Environmental Science and Sustainability (ESS) and who demonstrate academic excellence, leadership, and a commitment to sustainability. 

    Qualifications: To be considered for the scholarship, applicants must meet the following qualifications: 

    - Be a graduating high school senior or rising OLLU sophomore and planning to enroll as a full-time student in the undergraduate ESS program at the Our Lady of the Lake University San Antonio campus for the upcoming academic year. 
    - Have a minimum cumulative high school GPA of 2.5 (on a 4.0 scale). 
    - Demonstrate a strong commitment to environmental sustainability and leadership through their academic work, community involvement, or extracurricular activities. 
    - Declare a major OR minor in Environmental Science and Sustainability. 
    - Be a citizen of the United States, national of the United States, alien admitted as refugees under section 207 of the Immigration and Nationality Act, or alien lawfully admitted to the U.S. for permanent residence. 
    Priority deadline to submit application is March 1, 2025. Applications received after March 1st will be reviewed on a rolling basis if scholarships remain.
