Our Lady of the Lake University Houston campus offers a Master of Art (MA) in Teaching that is designed for aspiring teacher candidates who already have earned a bachelor’s degree and would like to add teacher certification while earning a master’s degree. Our MAT program offers specialization in the following areas:

• Elementary with an additional certification in Bilingual Education
• Elementary with an additional certification in English as a Second Language (ESL)
• Elementary with an additional certification in Special Education
• Second or All-Level Certification with additional Certification in English as a Second Language (ESL)
